Attorney Richard Hastings has been practicing personal injury law for almost 40 years. He is the founder of How to Find a Great Attorney and has extensive experience in referring injured parties to some of the best lawyers across the United States. He has a vast referral network of lawyers, throughout the country, and has helped injured parties and their families collect millions of dollars in cases involving accidents and medical malpractice.


He has extensive experience in negotiation, mediation, arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution. His cutting-edge strategies have been taught to attorneys across the country and he has written extensively about these methodologies.


Mr. Hastings has been taught and trained by some of the most influential and knowledgeable negotiation professors, instructors and social scientists in the world.       


   Attorney Hastings is a frequent speaker and instructor to lawyers across the country on how to develop, negotiate and resolve personal injury cases through his methodologies which have resulted in his obtaining patent pending protection for his business method patent entitled Personal Injury File Acquisition Method, Client Education Program and Case Referral System.     


    Mr. Hastings has authored or co-authored 12 books including one domestic best seller and one international best seller as well as an e-book, Adjuster Secrets; Attorney and Adjuster Tips and Techniques that Guarantee Larger Settlements, which was sold to personal injury lawyers across the country for as much as $799.99.  


Attorney Hastings has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and a JD from Fordham University. He practices at Hastings, Cohan & Walsh, LLP in Connecticut.
